Evaluation d’indicateurs d’endommagement basés sur le comportement dynamique des structures pour la détection et la localisation de défauts
Abstract
Many damage indicators based on the evolution of modal characteristics (eigenfrequencies and eigenmodes) have been proposed in the literature over the last 20 years. The presented work proposes a comparative analysis of these indicators and their expected performances according to the typology of degradation but also to the number of sensors used for the observation of the dynamic response which is an essential parameter for the practical implementation of monitoring systems on real structures. This approach is based on a theoretical and numerical study in the simple case of a bi-supported beam subjected to different damage scenarios as well as on a numerical model/experimental coupling applied to a laboratory steel frame structure. The synthesis of the results obtained allows to identify simple rules concerning the validity domains of the studied damage indicators.
